Katie & Bryan Hales- June 01/19

Updated: Mar 2, 2020

This was the first wedding of 2019! Nerves were high as B & B had alot of clean up & upgrades at the barn which were taking longer than anticipated. (Thanks to Lorne Risso and to European Timberframe for the great work they did!) Thanks to the Hales for your trust and patience when you couldn't see the finished barn upgrades ahead of time! In the end, it all came together and we were ready for Bryan & Katie's big day. It all kicked off with the 'first look' up in the orchard with a view of the lake and vineyards in the backdrop.

As guests began arriving for the ceremony out on the grass, everyone was seated looking towards the barn just over the little creek. It was very picturesque. The wedding party waited in the bunkhouse while having lunch and taking more pictures until it was time to begin. The ceremony was touching and heartfelt with both laughter and lots of (happy) tears. The love they share for one another was clearly felt by all present. The bride was wearing a stunning dress made by her mother....it looked AMAZING!

Following this very touching ceremony, guests were invited over to the grassed area by the barn for cocktails or to play yard games until the dinner reception was to start. The barn looked amazing with old books, teapots and flowers on the tables, giving it a beautiful vintage feel. The day ran really smoothly, thanks to Katie & Amanda being on the same page the whole way in the planning process. Amanda, our manager, said Katie and she were definitely kindred spirits. The dinner and dance had a great vibe, wonderful crowd & fun wedding party! We can't say enough about the fantastic vendors involved with this wedding. We all worked really well together and we were so thrilled with how it all turned out.

We wish Katie & Brian a lifetime of happiness. They were a dream to work with!
