Marc and Tine both worked and met on our farm…. she all the way from Germany and he from Quebec. Needless to say, they were shot by Cupid’s arrow and a romance bloomed. When they asked us if they could have their wedding reception in our barn, we weren’t even a venue yet…it was just still an idea we were thinking about. Good run-through we thought, and so preparations began to get the barn in ship shape before the big day. The ceremony was at Bertram Creek park and the most touching part of the ceremony was when she spoke her vows to him in his language of french and he to her in German…brought a tear to our eyes. In German tradition, it was straight to the Barn for a coffee and cake hour. My husband was drooling over the pastries! Guests played games through the afternoon until dinner and then a super fun and extremely lively dance rocked the barn! The dance moves were most entertaining. Wishing Marc & Tine a marriage as fun as their reception was.
